Onitaset Kumat, as Philosopher-Poet, wrote “Maroon and Build For Self” to give unto Africans sufficient tools toward mastering our own liberation.  This ten-dollar, thirty-page pamphlet delivers a wealth of wisdom, from information on African Queens of yore, ancient, modern, continental and diaspora; to information on how each of us can empower our neighborhoods.  The pamphlet features poetics and prose, and in terms of its breadth of history and Philosophy, makes an excellent companion to the African Blood Siblings Newsletter.  This is the Organization’s pamphlet to study.
